Day 4 –
Today we have a die set, one of the old-fashioned stamps and I interpreted the step up piece as a stamp holder..
I felt compelled to also come up with a “heritage” look and feel for this tag to go with it.
I can’t say that this is my favorite die and not sure I will use this very often.
Tag Measurements – 2.5 x 4.25 inches
Assembly instructions –
- Using a scratch piece of kraft cardstock about 3 x 4.5 inches, layer a couple different patterned paper, with torn edges as shown.
- Die cut stitched tag from the layered kraft cardstock from the first step.
- Die cut the handle from wood or wood-look cardstock.
- Die cut sentiment from white scrap cardstock.
- Die cut holder from navy blue scrap cardstock.
- Die cut sentiment frame from medium brown scrap cardstock.
- Punch heart from red scrap cardstock.
- Ink all edges with a warm medium brown ink.
- Assemble stamp by layering the sentiment on the brown frame, then onto the handle. Adhere red heart to the handle.
