Project of the week – Calendars created with Taylored Expressions Perennial Scenes
One of the biggest challenges is picking colors, coordinating colors, for making cards. Colors create a “vibe”, a “mood”, or a “season”, so it is important to me to pick the right colors.
I use Sara Renae Clark’s Colour Cubes and online interactive digital versions to help me focus on color combos. I encourage you to give it a try. https://sarahrenaeclark.com/colour-cube-second-edition/

Here are some examples of how the color card aligned with the finished product. I used Pinkfresh Studio ink colors and matched by “eye-balling” it. I didn’t compare the Hex or RGB color numbers.
I used seasons as my guide; Spring, Winter, Autumn, and Summer.

Here is how the calendar pages turned out. I used the pre-printed calendars from Taylored Expressions.
