Day 8 –
Today was the first day I was able to dig into the past days products from the Crafty Advent Calendar to fill in the tag.
The die for today is the Happy Day banner with coordinating solid die which I used behind the cut out letters.
I chose to use the top hat from Day 3, turned upside down to create a birthday cake, the letter “insides” I used for candles, and the stars from day 3.
Tag Measurements – 2.5 x 4.25 inches
Assembly instructions –
- Die cut 1 tag from solid white cardstock
- Die cut 1 tag from patterned paper. I used a page from the Spellbinders Party Hat and Streamers monthly card kit June 2022.
- Adhere the printed paper to white cardstock tag.
- Die cut, Happy day banner and 1 top hat from white cardstock
- Die cut, solid banner and 3 stars from gold cardstock (I used a brushed gold, but either a foil or glitter gold would look great too.
- Die cut the top had band from coordinating pink card stock.
- Punch 8 or so dots from the same coordinating pink cardstock.
- Assemble the tag. Adhere the pink hat band and dots to the cake (top hat), adhere the letter “insides” for candles, and then add the stars to the top of the candles.
- Cut the white happy day banner so they lay on the tag as desired, then adhere the white happy day banner on top of the gold solid banner. Adhere to the tag.
- Add the additional stars to the tag as desired.
- Add ribbon.
