Day 21 –
Today I kept things simple on my tag with focus on the sentiment die included behind door #21, “best wishes”.
This die is so flexible and appropriate sentiment for many occasions.
I used the embossing folder from day 13 but used the reverse side of the embossed image to give it a sharper, more graphic image.
Tag Measurements – 2.5 x 4.25 inches
Assembly instructions –
- Die cut the stitched tag and stitched circle (approx 1 3/4 inch) from heavy grey cardstock scrap
- Select 3 coordinating colors of solid cardstock scrap and cut a 2 x 6 inch piece from each.
- Dry emboss each strip with the embossing folder from day 13.
- Trim each strip to 1 3/4 inch wide, trying to center the embossed image.
- Ad here embossed strips to tag, starting 1/8 inch from the bottom and leaving a 1/8 gap between each color.
- Trim edges of the embossed strips to the tag edges.
- Adhere grey circle to the tag, across the center embossed strip and hanging over the edge to the left.
- Die cut sentiment from dark grey cardstock scrap.
- Adhere sentiment to the circle die as desired.
- Add ribbon.
