Day 20 –

Another adorable die set, a mini spacecraft, and one of the sentiments from yesterday is perfect for it.

I immediately think of MIB (Men in Black movie) and the variety of aliens they had in the movie. I wasn’t quite creative enough to free hand an alien.

For this take, the story is an alien ship is scanning for intelligent life forms on the blue/green planet. I wish I would have selected something to add as a life form beaming up, but couldn’t find anything small enough in my stash. But a cow in space would have been great.

The background paper is a printed “galaxy” paper, that had stars on it already.

Tag Measurements – 2.5 x 4.25 inches

Assembly instructions –

Die cut the stitched tag from printed cardstock paper.
Die cut a circle (approximately 3in diameter) from each a deep blue and a green cardstock scrap.
Adhere the blue circle to the bottom of the tag, just to where the edges meet, trim.
Free had cut the green portions from the green circle and adhere to the blue planet.
Die cut the “rays” from vellum (2).
Die cut the center space ship from silver foil cardstock scrap.
Die cut the outside ring from both matte silver and lime green sparkle cardstock scrap
Die cut the antennae/spaceship windows backing piece from both black and lime green sparkle cardstock scrap.
From the black antennae, cut way the antennae keeping just enough to glue. Adhere to the lime green sparkle antennae piece.
Assemble the spaceship – Adhere the black/lime green sparkle antennae to the back of the silver foil piece. You should see only the black antennae and the windows in lime green. later the silver matte ring to the lime green sparkle ring, off-set so you can see lime green from below the silver. Lay out the rays, with the middle being doubled up and adhere to back of the spaceship.
Adhere the spaceship to the tag.
Cut a 1/2 inch strip of white cardstock for the sentiment.
Stamp sentiment in back ink. Trim as desired.
Adhere sentiment to the top of the tag
Add ribbon or bakers twine.
