I’m still working through my backlog of card kits. I think this is going to take a while. There are so many great collections that are very inspiring from Spellbinders. This one, Whimsical Forest, was one of the first card kits that I HAD to have.
The darker colors, the cute trees and fall leaves and the cute little gnomes out there.
I fell in love so I was excited to pull this kit out to work on.
The theme is very fall based on color and design. There is some school themed items but I don’t have school aged children at home anymore so I skipped these.
I brought in some cardstock since I used my scraps first, I didn’t really tap into the cardstock from the kit.
I used some embossing folders, some other dies and sentiments from my stash.
I pinned and watched YouTube videos from all the great work other people have posted and I sure I cased from several. I two I find the most inspiration from are Tina Smith (Cards and Coffee Time) and Kristie Marcotte (Kristie Marcotte – The Best Things in Life are Pink).
