Day 14 –

Today’s die set include a cute little earthworm, leaf and raindrops. While I can see this die be used in a few different ways, I was challenged today. In order to use all the die pieces, I didn’t include a sentiment for this tag. This tag serves more as an example of how this die comes together.

It could be a book worm… if you have some book dies or stamps.

It would be great in alphabet flashcards for W… hard to find good W images.

Maybe an avid gardener would like a card with a friendly garden worm? or a fisher-person with worm bait on a hook? Or an Early-Bird scene?

Tag Measurements – 2.5 x 4.25 inches

Assembly instructions –

Die Cut the stiched tag from a light grey cardstock scrap.
Die cut rain drops (3) from medium blue cardstock scrap.
Die cut large leaf from light green cardstock scrap.
Die cut stem and oval from medium green cardstock scrap.
Die cut the worm body and head detail from raspberry pink cardstock scrap.
Die cut the eyes from white cardstock scrap.
Die cut the head base from dark grey cardstock scrap.
Die cut the cheeks from light pink cardstock scrap.
Assemble the worm – Adhere the head base to the back of the worm head. Adhere white eyes inside the holes cut for the eyes. Adhere the cheeks to the surface of the head. Adhere the head to the worm body. Use a white gel pen to trace the stripes on the worm body.
Assemble the leaf – Adhere the stem to the middle of the leaf, on the top so you will see the darker green vein in the leaf. You could ink blend the leaf to give it some texture if you want.
Assemble the tag – Adhere the green oval to the bottom of the tag. This creates a “ground” for the worm to sit on. Adhere the leaf and stem to the oval, the stem should be at the far left so that the leaf is mostly on the tag. Adhere the worm on the oval, and mostly under the leaf. Adhere raindrops in a random pattern above the leaf.
Add Wink of Stella to the raindrops to give them a little shimmer.
Add ribbon.
